  •  A Learn, Grow & Show Environment. Shows are ONE DAY only– minimal time commitment. Saturday will be a CLINIC hosted by the Sunday judge. You can opt to ride in the clinic only, show only, or do both (and save $$)! The idea is to learn what is expected in each class, better understand scoring, improve your rides and most of all– to HAVE FUN!

FRIDAY NIGHT FLAG!

Prior to our Saturday Clinics & Sunday Shows we are going to have
a little “extra” fun! Join us for approximately two hours of Flag
Work (Mechanical Cow) to be followed by a Pot Luck Community
Meal! Flag work guidance/instruction will be provided by Meghan
O’Brien and will start at 6:00pm on Fridays ahead of our Buckle
Series. All are welcome to attend the Pot Luck Meal & encouraged
to bring a dish to share! 2(ish) Hours of Small Group Instruction is
$60. The memories– are priceless! Please RSVP if you plan to ride–

A well known, and respected, face in the Upstate New York Equine World, Mr. Dunn brings a wealth of knowledge. He will be teaching the finer points of pattern execution and im-proving your ranch riding and ranch trail scores.

Jon Carpenter Cattle Clinics

Jon Carpenter comes to us from Arkansas!  A talented team roper and rope horse trainer- Jon has also held a judges’s card with several of the most popular stock breed associations.  He has previously served on the American Ranch Horse Judge’s Commitee and he currently holds and ARHA Judge’s card.  He has been teaching for nearly 2 decades.

He will be offering a clinic for more experienced cattle exhibitors on Thursday July 25th, and will offer a clinics on Friday July 26th to new exhibitors and those with green horses.  See registration form for details.

We are excited to partner with the Sunrise Horse Show Series for this show! It will not be pointed for the two-show buckle series we are hosting. BUT it will be include cattle classes and be LOADED with added money championship classes. We are really looking forward to this collaboration!

SEPTEMBER 21, 2024– MS. JILLIAN HAAS

 

An NRHA Professional & Money Earner, Jill operates Northeastern Performance Horses in Shelbourne, MA. She raises, trains and shows quality reining horses. She coaches several nonpros– at all levels. She also spends a good deal of time working through the reining maneuvers, and adding some finesse, to cowhorses. On the Saturday ahead of the URR Show she will be offering a clinic that focuses primarily on reining maneuvers and pattern execution. Need help with a turn around? Lead change? Lead departures? Perhaps you want to learn how to properly build a rundown and work on a stop? Maybe you just want a softer feel on your horse? Jill is your girl!
